A Shopify storefront for a large ethnic-wear catalogue

Singhania's sells handcrafted sarees and ethnic wear across a wide catalogue. The storefront is structured around how shoppers actually browse - by category and by occasion.

Evidence shown on this page: storefront architecture, catalogue navigation and merchandising structure. This case study describes the implementation rather than claiming an unverified sales uplift.

The situation

Singhania's catalogue spans Kanjivaram, Banarasi, designer sarees, lehengas, salwar sets, fusion wear, and menswear. A catalogue this size needs navigation and merchandising that helps a shopper narrow in fast - a flat product grid is not enough.

The storefront structure

  • Category-led navigation across weave and product type.
  • A separate Shop by Occasion path for shoppers searching by event rather than product type.
  • Collection and product pages built with Shopify's SEO constraints in mind.
  • Direct WhatsApp contact for pre-purchase questions on fabric, sizing, and customisation.

The result is two paths to the same product - by category or by occasion - matching how ethnic-wear buyers actually shop.
